I only bring this up to brag about what was the greatest op-up(s) of all time - close to theoretically optimal based on the great circle map. But not on AC. PER-HKG-YYZ both segments op-uped PY->J on CX, as a BA Silver at the time.
I was op-upped more in two years of Cathay Gold than I've been in 10+ years of same-or-higher status with AC.
