There's a lot of change about at the Kimpton Fitzroy London, these are my obervations of my recent stay.

Burr & Co coffeeshop is permanently closed

Reason:
To many students on 1 drink, all hotdesking and occupying seats for hours, no space for other paying customers and hotel guests
&
New F&B concept was announced but i'm unaware it will proceed with around the corner at Brunswick center similiar cuisines have opened at cheaper pricepoint



Social hour
- at Fitz's bar
- 1 drink only per acquired token (supervisor will grant token if you provide your key sleeve)
- alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks

Reasons:
- high season
- abuse by walk ins claiming to be guests
- IHG used to fully 100% reimburse each individual Kimpton hotel for it stock of crates of wines / beers, drinks consumed at social hour (hence generous pours & helpings)
however i'm not sure by how much but that % is lower nowadays.....


The Terrace X Minuity

It's the outdoor inner atrium court next to the Palm Court that has been spruced up into a money generating venue.
