Put all my flights on my personal Amex Platinum card. My medical insurance covers emergencies in other countries. I'm wondering if I can rely on that and my Amex plat to cover me or if I still need to buy a third party travel insurance policy. I think the platinum card pretty much covers me for a lot of the same things a travel insurance policy would but I am looking for any feedback to confirm whether or not this is the case.
