I was recently denied for the Premier, and two of the three reasons given were demonstrably false. I called recon and they basically read from the letter. I called another Executive line I had saved from some comment somewhere and she went into a little more detail than recon did, but still referenced the three denial reasons, even after my demonstration that two of them had no basis in fact. So I left it alone.

Mine was denied, I believe, because I have three new cards in the last six months (those three were all for the last 12 months, but the fact they're all more recent was likely the reason why). They added two other reasons which were bunk, because there are always three reasons for any denial.
