Nonstop in Economy vs 1-Stop in Business, Same Cost

How do you decide on picking a nonstop flight on economy vs with 1 stop on business but end up going to a farther airport, assuming same cost in miles terms. Next summer, I might be faced with the following:

- flying nonstop for 9 hours in economy. Arrival airport is about 45 minutes from my home. Flight departs noon, arrives mid-afternoon. Door to door (from when I leave hotel until I get home) is 15 hours.

- flying with 1-stop for 12 hours in business lie-flat. Arrival airport is 3 hours away. Flight departs mid-morning, arrives mid-afternoon. Door to door is 20 hours.

Let us just assume I will need to use same number and kinds of miles and pay same fees. This will be flight from Europe back to US. How do you decide? What will be your pick?
