Challenge accepted. I applied today and was instantly approved for Ascent despite having earned the bonus on the personal AS card in 2024 and closing the card in March 2025. I also had my wife send me the referral from her Alaska account so that she could earn the 10k referral. She doesn't have the card, which is not required to get the referral bonus. Great day for me as I also got approved for the 100k Southwest card, with my wife getting the 20k referral on that one. Time to turn my credit freeze back on and start planning some vacations!
