Is the dl flight domestic as in within the us or intl, for the intl on the wide bodies there will be no issue, far more attention is paid to how many bags then how large, now if your dl is within the us you might have an issue with space or if it is on a smaller plane it might not fit, you won’t be charged it will just be gate checked, make sure you can quickly get any must haves out of your bag, but zero worries on the intl flights
