I previously had the Alaska personal card but closed it back in March. Is there a definitive answer on whether I would be eligible to get the Ascent card for purposes of the rule of having not held the card in the previous 24 months? Basically, is BofA treating this as a "new/distinct" card, or is it a rebranding of the same card that carries over the 24 month rule?
I've got the same questions. Since existing cards have been rebranded to Atmos (new cards to be sent out on your renewal date I believe) I'm guessing the answer is that you'll be rejected for the Ascent. Hope I'm wrong. Why don't you be the group guinea pig and apply?
