While I'm skeptical like you are on what happens to points earned after your statement date prior to 10/26 until the 10/26 date being that they'll be in the pending bucket, the announcement that you can view in the first post of this thread does state "Through October 26, 2027 Points - For points
earned prior to October 26, 2025 you will automatically get the best offer available, whether it's Points Boost or 1.5 × on Chase Travel,..."
This indicates that any points you earn for all purchases made prior to 10/26/25 should be included in the points that will have 1.5 cpp value even if they remain pending until your next statement date after 10/26. However, this remains to be seen and obviously it would be better to get your spend in on the statement that will cut prior to 10/26 so you are ensured you'll get 1.5x value on those points.
