Wow! That is a lot of flying. I just looked up my numbers and it is half that since my first flight with BA back in 1999.

Congratulations on the Gold for Life! I hope BA does not discontinue the programme and you will get to enjoy the perks for many years to come. I am aiming for Gold for Life as well, and it is somewhat unsettling to think that BA may just withdraw it at any point.

That is too bad. Judging from the main thread about changing from BAEC to BAC, there were quite a few people within reach of GfL or GGLfL, who are now pushed into years of flying and much higher spend in order to achieve a lifetime status. I wish BA offered a way for them to reach their respective statuses in an easier manner.
