I will say the folks at Alaska and BOA were foolish when they sent these emails out.
It doesn't look like a credit card offer at all
It states boldly on top "Our new loyalty program has arrived"
Having read all the blogs detailing the program I mistakenly deleted it on Wednesday when I originally
received it as I was already up to speed previously
It looks like a semi spam email announcing the new foolish name and Its scheme for
Mileage Plan "Ashmosh" or whatever they are calling it now.
You have to scroll way down in the email to eventually see the "Your first in line!) which then
I suppose builds excitement for the new card?

Decades ago I worked on an old Alaska Credit Card campaign with the Alaska corporate folks
back when the company had amazing talent in their marketing department.
But to the credit of whomever designed the new premium CC overall benefits of
the new card may be a keeper and in year one a no brainer if you can get approved
