Welcome to my next TR.
This time I'm heading south, very far south at least for someone living in central Europe. It is the first time that I cross the equator and reach the southern hemisphere. It is my first time in NZ and FJ as well. Currently my southern most point is still in Singapore. This trip will bring me to a new eastern most point which is currently in Sapporo in Japan. When you have the hope to see spectacular landscapes in NZ you might be disappointed. It is an urban trip. Maybe I'm doing this the next time. Who knows what live is bringing.
I booked this as an AY codeshare flight and it was booked before 3rd of June. After that date all codeshare flight became spend based as well. My flight is still based on fare bucket and miles. The codeshare flight is on QR and hopefully in QSuite. I will see it as soon as I'm in DOH. From DOH it will be 3rd longest flight to AKL (at time beeing). After AKL I'm going more south to WLG for a couple of days before I go into warmer areas on Fiji. At the end of this trip I'm visiting CHC. After another night in AKL is is then time to say good bye to NZ. In thee weeks I should be back in Europe.
We will start tomorrow morning at 7am with a train ride to ZRH airport. From there my usual AY 1512 flight to HEL. For this flight I'm using one of my upgrade vouchers.

After a stop in the AY Lounge I'm going to ARN for one night. Monday around lunch time the whole trip to the south is tacking off. It is also the first time for me that I can use the Platinum Corner and Wing in HEL.
So stay tuned and see you in the morning.
