Just want to check if the ground crew in BS-ing me.
When I am checking in my bag, I was asked if it contains any laptop or mobile phone. I double checked he didn't mean spare battery or power bank. When I asked why there is a problem, he just say that there was a Samsung Note which would combust. I am aware of that but it is a very isolated case. I didn't bring either so I did not argue with him. I don't want my luggage to be flagged. I know FAA rules specifically permit both items. But I am flying from HKG, I just want to check if this is real or just some BS rule made up by the individual.
