Or, Is it worth it to cancel my flight and rebook using the miles I have?
What do you suggest? Keep in mind that I'm a neophyte when it comes to using points and find the whole business stressful.
Thanks.
I would not count on getting the bonus miles from a credit card in time to use on your upcoming trip. Bonus miles typically do not post to your AAdvantage account until after the closing date of the credit-card billing cycle during which you satisfied the requirements for the bonus. Nonetheless, getting 50,000 AAdvantage miles from Barclays for making one purchase of any amount is not a bad deal if you expect to have good use for those miles in the future.
