Thanks. So I'll follow your suggestion and check three weeks before my flight out. Since I'm 6,277 miles shy of having 250,000 is it worth it getting an AA credit card (no fee) so I can quickly earn enough miles for a segment on miles? Or, Is it worth it to cancel my flight and rebook using the miles I have?
What do you suggest? Keep in mind that I'm a neophyte when it comes to using points and find the whole business stressful.
