I am so glad my dad has a stair lift fitted at home. I will be using that next time I go see him, much to his obvious bewilderment no doubt.

If the LHR thing is a new policy it's just crazy. That said, in terms of running down stairs, I do see that a lot upon arrival at LAS where there's a mad dash to get to the front of the queue at immigration.
