Well, yes, you have a (P) business fare with its business luggage allowance. In contrast, OP presumably has an economy fare and was thinking of upgrading one of the two segments to J, in which case, the baggage allowance doesn't change.

wrote about a one-way mixed cabin award ticket. Where do you read anything about an upgrade? I am aware that UGs are retaining the original bag allowance, but this does not appear to be the question here.
Mixed cabin tickets (no upgrades) should have the higher allowance.
