Got my Summit approved, Jury is still out on whether to keep BOA Ascend card. I do like use of $95 fare on last minute expensive tickets.

Overall Summit looks pretty good. Any idea when the 25,000 Companion Award Reduction Cert arrives? Maybe I need to hit the $6K Spend in 90 days. Won’t be hard for me with property taxes due in Oct.

Also thinking it makes sense to use Summit Card vs Ascent, with 2:1 spend ratio for the new “points” system. Ascent is 3:1 with a 30,000 cap. Will move all auto pay bills to Summit, makes Titanium a little easier to hit in 2026.

Any new travel protections (hate to say insurance) with Summit card other than $50 certificate for 2+ hrs late on Alaska?
