Is this all confusing on purpose? So in the past, if I flew a 1st class rt flight from KOA-PHX on HA I would earn 750m to HNL from KOA. Then 4376m from HNL to PHX. PHX to HNL 4376m. Then 750m from HNL to KOA for a total of 10251m. Under new rules I would get KOA-HNL 163m x2 and HNL-PHX 2917x2 =6160. If this is correct, I am not sure how this benefits me. I only fly Business/First. So do I really need to be loyal to any airline?
