I renewed the day I got the flyer.... last week. 1,000 miles posted today. If I read the thing about the 5,000 miles correctly, I think it will post sometime after the end of the offer, which was April 30th I believe. I know for sure that it said the 5,000 miles would post separately from the 1,000 standard bonus for renewing on united.com.
