There's speculation about the free Discount Den that you may not need to actually fly the flight that qualifies for the Den. You could just not show up. There are others who are just cancelling their flight and the Den still is showing. I wouldn't try the cancel method but the no-show method would probably work.
If you're comfortable with either, there's no need for a segment run.
