Why do Canadians think there will be a promotion post strike?

Given the love affair of "WE SUPPORT AC WORKERS" - let's bring those significant price increases please. I'm not joking or being facetious. I welcome it just as Canadians welcomed the carbon tax until it bankrupted them.
