You may see a charge hit your card overnight tonight, as the system automatically charges late cancellations during night audit unless manually marked to waive the fee.

If that happens, a call back saying that the agent told you it wouldn't be charged will likely result in a refund, and probably a talking to for that agent about actually checking cancelation policies on reservations before making that promise.
