The hotel is acceptable, but stay out of the restaurant. It may be the worst of any in the entire worldwide Hyatt chain. There are a couple of decent places right across the street (Old Bay and Nova Terra) and a really good highend Italian (Panico's) just up the block. Another five minutes walk can take you to three or four other good places (Frog and the Peach, Soho on George, Stage Left are some of them). You can get a really good sandwich at Old Man Rafferty's just around the corner and up the block and walking up the street another block to the railroad station and going right on Easton Avenue will take you to a row of casual places that includes a genuine HongKong style noodle shop and the usual run of fried chicken and pizza places. New Brunswick has come a long way in the past twenty years and is certainly head and shoulders a better place to stay than out on the hiway in E Brunswick.

Reason: to remark that we have always enjoyed finishing up an evening at the bar in this hotel
