“package holidays with other airlines” is what I described and it’s most definitely been the case that I check out that morning even if the flight isn’t until the evening. As stated in one of my other comments it’s may be because it’s 01.30am but i booked a package holiday with BA to Vegas where my flight was evening flying into Heathrow and I checked out that day and didn’t not have my room until the following day so that’s maybe what’s thrown me
they do it based on the flight day/time, check out time, number of hours etc.i suspect midnight is the usual cut off point for a typical 12 noon checkout. Airline package holidays are no different from other package holidays and in fact frequently use systems owned by larger otas.
