Comfortable journey on AA72 from SYD to LAX. The Thai Shrimp curry was the best I’ve had on a plane outside of TG with legit kick and fragrant jasmine rice. Nice FA’s and was good to have a slice of crusty bread instead of a roll for once. Appreciated that the breakfast yogurt wasn’t loaded with sugar.

Weird experience with the champagne though. Asked for a glass of bubbles and was poured some Cava. Pointed it out to the FA who mentioned that the Feuillatte was only for First.
She eventually “snuck” me a glass but the whole thing was odd. Not my fav champagne so didn’t bother asking for more. Found all the beverage options very boring.
