We are flying to ORD from LSE (La Crosse, Wisconsin) in November on the way to PVR. I am in a wheelchair and we will be traveling with our cat, since we spend 7 months in Mexico. We have a 3 hour layover and haven't flown into Chicago for years, so I was wondering if we will have to go back through security (which is kind of a hassle between the wheelchair and the cat) or if the security we went through in LSE will be enough? Also, how long of a walk/push is it to the international terminal (I'm assuming the domestic terminal isn't close, but don't really know?)

Any info, reassurance would be very much appreciated! We fly often with the cat, but haven't flown American Air since they left me on the plane in Chicago (I need an aisle chair but everyone left, including the flight attendants and the pilots) and the wheelchair people never showed. So, I'm a bit nervous, which is why we have such a long layover. :-)
