Just read on OMAAT that QR’s gonna move to the new JFK terminal one when it opens in 2026. Also QR plans to open its first premium lounge in the americas. Here’s a statement from the QR CEO:

While I’m super excited for what will probably be the best overall lounge in North America (when considering how good QRs outstation lounges are), I will miss T8, which is probably the most pleasant commercial airport terminal experience one can have out of New York (which is not saying much lol). Also interesting to see what’ll happen with all the AA connections at JFK too.
