EI HQ can do the changes, especially when bulk changes are required
rokna, would you please complain to the concierge line about this? I just last week concluded the same complaint about the same problem at the same airport and got compensation (!) for it along with a detailed list of what they have done to get BRS agents trained right.
Aer Lingus are unhappy with Emerald over this problem at BRS specifically as they keep telling Emerald they have to adhere to the ticket conditions and allow changes at the check in desk. EI will be most interested to get another data point only a few days after telling emerald to stop refusimg to do it (for about the fifth time)
fartoomanyusers, I can certainly say they’ve been able to change flights there for at least 18 months as there was a period last year (after I complained and tbf EI were very responsive) when they were happy to make changes for “concierge, plus and advantage” as the check in agent put it. Changed at least 5 tickets last year.
