Flew F BCN-MUC-JFK this month and in JFK my one checked bag never arrived. Filed a delayed baggage claim. It showed up 60 hours later; I didn't know the baggage was located until about 48 hours after landing.

LH have denied my claim twice, saying I'm entitled to zero as I was travelling "homebound". I landed in JFK, my home is in FL (1068 miles away), and I had business upon landing; i showed them the hotels and my home drivers license address. I stated this in the last correspondence - they are not budging.
Any advice? I'm reading that you just keep persisting but this is new territory for me. AirHelp instead?
Strange, you did PM me about this & i advised you what you can claim for, normally they are pretty good, seems like you have a rogue CS agent, being totally unreasonable, as you point out you were not going directly Home.
I would probably escalate to LH top Management PM if you need the details.
