Historically, FHR bookings were treated as if they had been made by a traditional travel agent, rather than an OTA, but with the disappearance of Platinum Travel Service I do not know if that is still true.
There's a bit of YMMV. IME Hyatt and Hilton they will be treated as eligible stays, but with Marriott it's a bit of a crapshoot.
