Here are pics from the J meal service on NRT-SEA last month...it was a free 2 HA upgrade certificate upgrade from a 30K Y award so I can't complain but I do agree with a previous poster in saying that the amount of food for a 9-10 hour flight is noticeably less than their competitors. I flew JL in J on SEA-NRT the week before and the meal service was light years better (as expected). The chicken and polenta "block" were pretty sad for a business class main course especially compared to the cooked-to-order steak and potatoes on my JL flight. AS has it's work cut out for it in terms of providing a competitive business class soft product on it's long haul international flights.
