Making some assumptions based on unverified leaks (the FT way), but without seeing the T&Cs on these credits, I'm not sure why we're assuming that holding the card somehow precludes you from receiving the standard comp issued to everyone on an affected flight. So your $100 or $200 becomes $150 or $250 because you have the card, and your effective AF goes down. Not sure what's cheap about that.
