As long as the CP remains easy to earn and use, I'll keep WN in the rotation. For now, I'm even still preferentially giving them my DEN travel (when they offer nonstops, anyway, because I can earn A-List segments on points to DEN) and any nonstops where I can snag a sale for <200% the competition, just to burn my credits. Zero idea why I'm making any attempt to keep A-List, since I rarely check a bag and my credit card includes every other A-List perk. I don't expect to make even this halfhearted attempt next year.
I almost see it differently, though - I had stockholmed myself to them for years, willing to make a connection to go to the west coast, or connect in an fsm-forsaken airport to get to the midwest, to take advantage of the CP and enjoy the simple SDC / 14 day change policies. The deterioration of the schedule from FLL/MIA was enough to make my eyes wander, but not being able to book BE fares really stings, and the credits I foolishly built up being suddenly subject to expiration again really sours me. I'm not stockholmed anymore, I'm finally a free agent. Starting in 2026, WN will only get my business when they offer me more for less. I'll absolutely miss the LUV, but it was almost a blessing that they destroyed so much of their value to me in such a short period of time. I might have stuck around longer for death by a thousand cuts than I will now that they've made it so plain that they don't value me.
