Either way - it's a 3 min train trip to T3 for AA (which comes every few mins) and O'Hare security is lighting fast. There's at least 4 different security lines per concourse even if one is long, but you should be thru security in just a couple mins. The walk to even the furthest possible gate in T3 is no more than 10 mins.

Im glad to see this post. Ord is hime airport and I've always thought it was pretty efficient but it gets a lot of knocks here. Its pretty compact for a large airport. Good luck on your connection.
