In TK IST business lounge now. Section in the far end with the kids play area is closed off for renovations. Surprisingly - on a Saturday afternoon - the remaining lounge area doesn’t seem overcrowded compared to busier times I’ve experienced in the past.

Does anyone know what TK is up to with this renovation? It’s not obvious to me that it’s going to create more space - which IMHO is the most pressing need. And meanwhile is the miles and smiles lounge a better bet for the time being in terms of having more space? (I would walk over myself to check it out if I had a longer layover, but not today.)
