Courtyard Kuala Lumpur South not good anymore?

For the price, it is great value (amazing value with the suite upgrade). I extended my stay another week, and I was upgraded again, and now I've extended again (until the end of December) and received another upgrade -- so I'll have a full month in the same suite, for just 306 MYR per night.

* The staff are very polite and helpful and competent
* The bed is very comfortable
* Air conditioning is very good, easy to get the room down to 18c at night
* The suite layout is a very good use of space, it has a large sofa, a 4-seat dining table and a sink and a microwave and glasses and cutlery and plates and bowls
* The desk has an ergonomic chair (a relief for my back after Fairfield and AC Hotel's chairs)
* The curtains and blinds are electric; all of the lights are linked together with a single switch*
* The bathroom has sliding doors, the bedroom has a pocket door
* The view is nice, there's a clear view of the river, it is fun to watch the fish and birds compete to eat the bugs at sunset and I've seen people fishing on a few occasions
* No noise from outside the hotel or other rooms
s3m, you wrote a brilliant review of this hotel some months ago. Do you have any idea if this hotel is still good several months on?

I have just completed a week at the hotel. For some reason, the air conditioning never fell below 24C a night, making it hard to sleep. I've asked the front desk about it and they maintain there's nothing wrong with the air conditioning.

I don't know if things have changed, or I've just been unlucky, but I don't feel like I'll return to this hotel.
