That is what I fear too. What makes it worse I'm on the verge of Silver and was planning to travel with my wife in October and use a companion pass for her birthday.

Is there any CX instance this issue could be escalated to? E.g. their WhatsApp support obviously is not a serious customer service channel in such situations.
