Is there any reasonable prospect of success in that period of time? I’ve had a similar layover once before and missed it but it was the pandemic and everything was a little nuts at the time in terms of extra documentation, etc. so I’m wondering if things are better now.
Assuming flight is on time, you'll be totally fine. I fly thru 20 airports a year and especially considering it's size, O'Hare is one of if not the most efficient for things like this. Quick tip - the Mobile Passport App is typically a much shorter line, though not sure if you have Nexus / anything else if you are Canadian.

Either way - it's a 3 min train trip to T3 for AA (which comes every few mins) and O'Hare security is lighting fast. There's at least 4 different security lines per concourse even if one is long, but you should be thru security in just a couple mins. The walk to even the furthest possible gate in T3 is no more than 10 mins.

Don't worry!
