Just a rant - landed at DFW today, Baggage C4. 4 full busses went by - got on the 5th one. A good 45 minute wait. Terrible.
Part of it is construction on Terminal C, it's access road, and it's garage. If possible don't check luggage and take the Skylink to another terminal.
If luggage has to be checked and you end up at a low C gate, well, that is the last stop for most of the shuttles anyway. Also, there was signage last week saying those locations were "officially" closed for construction. (Some of the normal stops really are blocked. A parking shuttle driver confirmed, but said her employer said to stop if flagged down).
Consider staying upstairs and walking to the stop for the high number gates--but I'm not sure you can do that without going outside right now.
The airport has warned it is entering an extensive construction phase, which is a bit curious. I really don't understand why we are still again spending a gazillion dollars knocking down parking structures, just to replace them with newer, somewhat bigger, arguably better, but definitely shinier, parking structures. It is not like it is free, and there is nothing structurally wrong. Just have to have bigger and better,
