Its just how things are done in this day and age.
Inaccurate information that pushes peoples buttons to comment = more people loading the video to see the comments/post = more views = more money for Matt
Just like you see gazillion similar (not flying related) posts on social media, people comment and like because they can clearly see its not true, and suddenly its 50k comments and 100's k likes ect.
