Those of us who are free to choose carrier, cabin and fare are the easiest for AC to lose as customers.
When buying business class, the benefits of FF status are minimal. Concierge if NEEDED as opposed to an ego stroke, meal choice priority but how often does one not get it in business class anyway.
In order to keep us, the airline needs to provide us with benefits that are tangible and real to us.
Those benefits have been severely eroded effective January 01st, loosening the grip AC has on us.
If I book business class fares based on schedule, price, carrier safety we will travel often more comfortably, often a better schedule, close to always better food and consistent cabin service.
