We landed at 22:45 a couple of weeks ago, transferred to T4 and smugly sailed through immigration, then sat watching the Tour de France on the TV MAD kindly supplies at each baggage carousel for nearly another hour until our bag appeared!

Off topic but why is Chamartin nowhere near anything? It's not much use for the city centre OR the airport. It's actually more convenient to get an internal flight than take the train in many cases!
