Fwiw, I recently used Luggage Forward and do not recommend. They basically just served as a middleman for UPS. I’m sure that works fine in most cases, but when the pickup from my hotel got bungled (label came unattached during transit) I could not reach LF by phone, text, or email for days. In the end it was a series of dedicated UPS employees in the field and a friendly hotel clerk who helped locate and correctly re-direct my missing suitcase, with me playing the role of operations coordinator.
To their credit, LF did resurface to contact me (for the first time) after the saga was over and offer a refund, but even that process was bizarrely complicated and protracted (agent could not process the refund unless I completed an online form, etc.). Next time, as others have suggested above, I’ll just work directly with the courier.
