I tend to err on the side of caution and would rather park myself at 51st & Green for a little while longer than sweat some kind of delay at pre-clearance.
We are returning home in two weeks from DUB and will check a bag. We are planning to arrive at airport 3 full hours before departure & hope we end up with some time at 51st & Green.
