Americanisation of British English or rather 'English' language is in full swing. However, this is indeed an Airbus door viewing window. Not a Boeing. I'd hazard a guess that it's an adopted industry standardisation decal.

Something you may also spot that's now been widely adopted, is the "fasten seatbelt while seated..." stickers / placards on tray tables / bulkheads - instead of using whilst. easyJet's original interior with cloth seating does use the word whilst and is the only airline i've still seen using it.
