I think it's quite interesting that UA offers 3 pre-arrival options (2 hot and 1 cold). Considering most carriers only offer a choice of 1 hot and 1 cold pre-arrival. And some (AC and AF) are even worse and only offer a 1 cold pre-arrival meal, no choice.
Agreed, this is certainly a recent improvement (although the cynics would say just one more inedible option
