The OneWorld rules suggest you have access based on a same-day connecting flight in business class. If you have that, you’re good to go. I can only see problems arising if your XXX-MAD is on one day and your LHR-YYY on another. Your access might then be open to interpretation, but otherwise all good.

yes, i am not exactly convinced the rules do provide access at LHR based on the XXX-MAD flight. the oneworld rules talk of access when "
...travelling between an international long haul .....and an international short haul or domestic flight".
additionally looking at a ba lounge eligibility guide it says "
Customers arriving in long haul business and first class cabins connecting to a flight in Economy class also enjoy lounge access even though their onward sector does not give them access."
by all means ask at LHR and show your same day XXX-MAD bp, but i think the answer may be no.
