Excuse my schoolboy humour but isn't it that type of behaviour (i.e. "poke about") that gives BKK a bad reputation

In all seriousness to the OP a return taxi into town and a night in a good quality hotel will probably set you back around $100 to $150 If you have paid to travel F I would think that this small additional amount is money well spent. BKK is also a city with a myriad of entertainment possibilities, as smuttily alluded to above
