One addition: if you bid on an award ticket (in my case from X in eco) and the bid is accepted, your new fareclass will also be an award class ( in my case I in biz). So still no Points or miles.
Not sure if this was properly shown in the bid description...
I was wondering about this because I have made a bid for an award flight with Lufthansa City Airlines, whereby the text stated I would receive miles and points as per the new booking class. I doubted that immediately, in fact.
